Hormone Replacement Therapy
Feel More Like Yourself Again
Hormone levels naturally change throughout life. For some people, these changes can contribute to symptoms that affect energy, sleep, mood, sexual health, body composition, and overall quality of life.
At Vivacity 360 Health Co., we offer individualized hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for both men and women. Our approach begins with a comprehensive evaluation of your symptoms, medical history, and laboratory results to determine whether hormone therapy may be appropriate for you.
Hormone Therapy for Women
Hormonal changes can occur during perimenopause, menopause, and other stages of life. Depending on your individual needs, hormone therapy may be considered for symptoms such as:
Hot flashes and night sweats
Vaginal dryness or discomfort
Changes in libido or sexual health
Sleep disturbances
Mood changes or irritability
Changes in energy and overall well-being
Menstrual changes associated with perimenopause
Other symptoms associated with changing hormone levels
Treatment may include estrogen, progesterone, and/or testosterone when clinically appropriate.
Hormone Therapy for Men
Testosterone levels can change with age and may also be affected by certain medical conditions or other factors. When clinically appropriate, testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) may be considered for men with symptoms and laboratory findings consistent with testosterone deficiency.
Potential symptoms may include:
Low energy or fatigue
Decreased libido
Changes in sexual function
Decreased muscle mass or strength
Changes in body composition
Mood changes
Reduced sense of overall well-being
Treatment is individualized and includes appropriate monitoring throughout therapy.
Treatment Options
We offer multiple hormone delivery options, allowing your treatment plan to be tailored to your goals, preferences, lifestyle, and medical needs.
Creams & Topical Hormones
Topical hormone preparations are applied to the skin and absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream. They may be an option for certain patients who prefer a non-invasive method of hormone delivery. Majority of creams and topical formulations are compounded for the individual.
Oral Medications
Certain hormones and hormone-related medications can be taken orally. Oral therapy may be appropriate for some patients depending on the hormone being prescribed, medical history, risk factors, and treatment goals.
Injectable Hormones
Injectable hormone therapy provides another option for patients who prefer injections or for whom injectable therapy is clinically appropriate. Dosing and frequency are individualized based on the medication, laboratory results, symptoms, and response to treatment.
Hormone Pellets
Hormone pellets are small implants placed under the skin that gradually release hormone over time. Pellets may provide a longer-acting option for selected patients who are appropriate candidates.
Pellet therapy requires a consultation, appropriate laboratory evaluation, and ongoing monitoring. Pellet therapy is not the right choice for everyone, and treatment recommendations are individualized.
Your Treatment. Your Goals. Your Plan.
At Vivacity 360 Health Co., we don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to hormone therapy.
Your treatment plan may include:
1. Comprehensive Consultation
We review your symptoms, health history, medications, lifestyle, and goals.
2. Laboratory Evaluation
Appropriate laboratory testing helps evaluate hormone levels and other factors relevant to your care.
3. Personalized Treatment Plan
If hormone therapy is appropriate, we discuss available treatment options and determine the delivery method that best fits your individual needs.
4. Ongoing Monitoring
Hormone therapy requires follow-up. We monitor your symptoms, laboratory results, treatment response, and potential side effects and adjust treatment when appropriate.
Important Information
Hormone replacement therapy is prescription medical treatment and is not appropriate for everyone. Risks, benefits, contraindications, and alternatives vary depending on the individual and the specific hormone therapy used.
A consultation and appropriate medical evaluation are required before treatment is initiated. Laboratory testing may be recommended before and during therapy.
